WHO YOU ARE
You are an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who is looking for an opportunity in a school-based setting to make a difference in the community. As a BCBA, you will assess, oversee the implementation of, and evaluate the effectiveness of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) related intervention for individuals with Autism, developmental delays, and other learning disabilities while working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high quality treatment, documentation, and compliance. You will also provide leadership to other Board Certified Behavior Analysts and Registered Behavior Technicians.


WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Assessment - Complete screening requests to determine a student's need for evaluation and review each students’ referral and records to determine initial expected assessments, diagnosis, and observations required
  • Implementation - Service students in accordance with treatment plans and complete annual mandated documentation for legal compliance and billing, including updating teaching and treatment materials
  • Data Tracking - Ensure accurate and reliable data collection on all treatment plan and other target skills related to ABA curriculum using data sheets and electronic marking devices to identify skill acquisitions, behavioral improvement, evaluate treatment efficacy, and adjust goals to maximize effectiveness
  • Reporting - Maintain communication with each student's family and/or caregivers regarding progress and needs
  • Collaboration - Work with multidisciplinary team members to determine the most appropriate treatment plan based on student needs and to improve service delivery and treatment
  • Training - Supervise staff pursuing BCBA certification, as well as train graduate students and/or fieldwork students when appropriate
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree
  • Behavior Specialist License
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification
  • Completion of 8-Hour Supervision Course
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental delays


Clearances & Training Required
  • Act 33 PA Child Abuse History Clearance
  • Act 34 PA State Criminal History Clearance
  • Act 114 FBI Clearance issued by the Dept of Education
  • Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training Certificate
  • Act 168 from Previous Employers where you came into contact with children
  • CPR/First Aid
  • TB/Physical
