MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- One year providing ABA treatment to young children with autism
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
- Pursuing BCBA credential
- Two or more years providing ABA treatment to with young children with autism
- Serve as mentor/role model for new behavior technicians, including orientation for new team members
- Responsible for initial and ongoing training of behavior technicians using Behavioral Skills Training, including teaching concepts and strategies related to skill building and behavior reduction
- Provide proactive in-the-moment support to behavior technicians to manage challenging patient behavior, including use of crisis prevention and management strategies (SafetyCare).
- Provide proactive and in-the-moment support to behavior technicians to optimize implementation of teaching strategies with patients.
- Assist Behavior Analysts with recurring tasks, including:
- Creation of programming/protocols and materials
- Target selection
- Creation or adjustment of data collection sheets and graphs
- Creation of team meeting agendas
- Team guidance
- Collaborate with treatment teams and facilitate communication between all job roles within ABA department.
- Maintain client confidentiality according to HIPPA laws.
- Maintain a clean and safe work space.
- Commit to ongoing training and development, such as maintaining RBT certification.
- Share in the responsibility for daily cleaning and maintenance of client workspace and clinic as a whole.
- Fulfill job responsibilities of behavior technician as needed.
- Ability to quickly switch between, or remain in, physical positions (e.g., standing/sitting/moving) for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull 40 pounds, repeatedly as needed.
- Ability to get up and down from floor or small chairs while instructing or playing with small children.
- Ability to move quickly and maintain patient proximity to optimize treatment and promote safety (e.g., prevent elopement opportunities).
- Work is performed in a clinical outpatient environment.
- Must be ambitious and self-motivated.

- Must be well organized.
- Must possess efficient time management skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of behavior analytic terminology.

- Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and related skills.
