Job Summary
Will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to effectively meet the clinical needs of the clients. This may include carrying a clinical caseload and providing individual and/or group therapy. This may also include assessments to help with diagnostic clarification and assessments for psychopathology, cognitive and neurodevelopmental functioning, and more pervasive personality disorders. This role is also capable of providing intake interviews, as well as Mental Health Needs Assessments. Will maintain working knowledge of community resources and effectively provide that information to clients and/or their parents/guardians/caretakers. Will spend 51-79% of their time providing psychologist specialty services (i.e., psychological assessment, supervision of pre-doctoral psychology interns) and the remainder of their time on other responsibilities (i.e., individual/group therapy, clinical intakes) as designated by the program manager/director.

Job Summary

Essential Functions
- Provides direct clinical services to individual clients and/or families across the life span
- Conducts psychological assessments with children and/or adults based on referral questions including but not limited to addressing psychopathology, cognitive/neurodevelopmental functioning, and/or personality disorders
- Trains and supervises interns in provision of clinical services and/or psychological assessment, as warranted
- Provides necessary case management services to various systems (e.g., schools, Department of Human Services)
- Responsible for referring clients to internal and external resources as appropriate, coordinating care with other providers, monitoring outcomes, and involving family and/or caretakers in client treatment, when appropriate
- May involve supervision and training of psychology interns and occasionally practicum students and postdoctoral psychology candidates
- Attends and participate in monthly Internship Training Committee meetings, if supervising psychology interns
- Licensed psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in good standing in the state of Colorado
- Experience supervising interns and/or practicum students, preferred
- Experience working therapeutically with specified populations
- Experience in various treatment modalities appropriate for specified populations utilizing strength-based therapeutic approaches
- Experience working in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess basic computer skills and type 25+ w.p.m.
- Significant experience with case management (e.g., schools (IEPs), Dept of Human Services, legal system) preferred
- Ability to make treatment recommendations based on evidence-based interventions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be computer literate and type 25+ w.p.m
- If conducting psychological assessment: must have experience administering, scoring, interpreting, and integrating assessments of intelligence, achievement, personality disorders, mood disorders, and cognitive and neurodevelopmental disorders with specified populations. These assessments may include, but are not limited to:
- Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale, 4th Edition, Wechsler Memory Scale, 4th Edition, Wechsler Individual Achievement Test (WIAT-III), Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-V, Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence 4th edition, Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory, 3rd edition, Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2 RF, Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-Adolescence, Personality Assessment Inventory, Bender Gestalt II, Repeatable Battery for the Assessment of Neuropsychological Status, Rorschach, Tests of Variables of Attention, Woodcock-Johnson Tests of Achievement, A Developmental Neuropsychological Assessment-II, Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scale-II, Wide Range Assessment and Learning (WRAML-2), Berry-Buktencia Developmental Test of Visual-Motor Integration, 6th Edition, Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test, 4th edition, California Verbal Learning Test (2nd edition and children’s version), Trail Making Test for Adults and Children, Wisconsin Card Sorting Test.
- Also be able to interpret a variety of self-report questionnaires related to emotional and behavioral functioning (e.g., 16 Personality Factor Questionnaire, ADHD self-report assessment measures, Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Function, Children’s Behavior Checklist, Trauma Symptom Checklist for Children)
- Have experience using hand scoring and computer scoring when relevant for the assessments listed
