Responsibilities

  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Deliver individual therapy and group therapy using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other behavioral interventions
  • Provide crisis intervention for patients in distress
  • Collaborate on cases involving anxiety, depression, and/or developmental disabilities
  • Maintain EMR/EHR records

Qualifications & Skills

  • Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Louisiana
  • Experience with children, adolescent, and teen populations or outpatient therapy preferred
  • Skilled in CBT and crisis management
  • Positive, proactive, and solution-focused
  • Adaptable communication skills and ability to interact effectively at different levels with different audiences
  • Cultural competence and ability to treat all with dignity and respect
