POSITION SUMMARY:

Provides clinical Social Work services throughout the Johns Hopkins Community Physician sites.

COMPETENCIES:

Education: Master’s degree in Social Work is required.

Knowledge: Understanding of social work values, and able to draw from educational and professional experiences the tools needed to promote change in a social context.

Skills: Effective interpersonal skills and demonstrated written and verbal communication skills

are necessary to interact with JHCP providers, staff and a diverse patient population.

Ability to provide guidance and direction to Social Work students if eligible.

Required Licensure,

Certification

Current Maryland licensure with the Board of Social Work Examiners or license eligibility

at LMSW, LCSW or LCSW-C level.

Work Experience - One year of post-graduate Social Work experience in a health care setting, preferably ambulatory care.

Salary Range: Minimum $29.86/hour - Maximum $49.31/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
