LuxeRecruit is hiring a Patient Access Specialist / Intake Coordinator for a full-time, on-site role with one of our hospital partners in Southern California.

In this position, you'll play a critical role in supporting the hospital’s revenue cycle — managing patient registration, insurance verification, and intake processes. This role requires strong attention to detail, a customer-first attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete full patient intake and registration for inpatient and outpatient services
• Verify insurance coverage (including Medicare, Medi-Cal, Tricare, and commercial plans)
• Generate and explain financial estimates and collect patient responsibility payments
• Coordinate closely with clinical staff for accurate bed placement and scheduling
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and ensure all records are accurately processed in the hospital system
• Participate in daily huddles and department performance improvement initiatives

✅ Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in healthcare intake, admissions, or revenue cycle
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medi-Cal, and insurance verification protocols
• Comfortable using EHR systems and patient tracking platforms
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• High school diploma or GED required

Pay: $23.00 – $34.00 per hour

Schedule: Day shift | Full-time | Rotating weekends
Location: On-site | Southern California hospital
