Job Opportunity: Residents in Counseling
Locations: Warrenton & Culpeper, VA
Seasons Counseling, PLLC is growing, and we’re excited to welcome new Residents in Counseling to our team! We offer a beautiful, supportive, and collaborative outpatient environment where therapists can thrive while providing exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual therapy to children, teens, and adults.
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Support mental health for individuals and families through evidence-based practices through long term therapy relationships.
- Collaborate closely with our team to deliver holistic, high-quality care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Qualifications:
- A Master's degree and approval from Virginia Board of Counseling as a resident in counseling (or be Board eligible).
- Strong ability to deliver trauma-informed, client-centered care.
- Exceptional active listening, communication, and empathy skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Passion for supporting diverse client populations with compassion and competence.

Summary
As a Resident in Counseling/Counselor/Therapist, you will be instrumental in providing comprehensive mental health support to patients, utilizing core skills in behavioral therapy and patient assessment. Reporting to a licensed supervisor, your role involves delivering effective counseling services, including psychotherapy and crisis intervention, to individuals and families. You will leverage your premium skills in motivational interviewing and child counseling, while also drawing on relevant experience with diverse populations. Your commitment to patient care and adherence to HIPAA regulations will ensure a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
