Community Support Services, Inc. (CSS) is a non-profit organization based in Gaithersburg, MD. CSS is committed to providing inclusive and innovative community-based services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in their pursuit of individually chosen life goals to live, work, learn, interact with others, and recreate in their community.
CSS has full and part time opportunities for BCBA Licensed professionals in the field of developmental disabilities to provide behavior consultation services designed to enhance independence and person centered goals of children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Community Support Services, Inc., located in the upper Montgomery County area, provides a full range of community based support services to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. CSS has developed and operated highly individualized services since 1994, and currently supports over 300 individuals in educational, residential, vocational, and in-home services. Positive behavior support services are provided to each individual based on a comprehensive functional assessment and support plan. Behavior support services within CSS are directed by a Licensed Psychologist and include a team of professionals working together to design and implement individualized plans across settings. This position involves travel between residential and employment sites in the upper Montgomery County area.

Requirements
- Masters Degree and licensed BCBA
- Effective documentation and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum of one year experience working with individuals with
- developmental disabilities preferred, valid driver's license
- Observe direct support professionals implement individualized behavioral intervention plans which are designed to increase each individual's adaptive behavioral skills, independent living skills and productive work skills.
- Develop functional behavioral assessments and behavior plans.
- Provide initial and ongoing staff training on individualized behavior support plans.
- Monitor the implementation of behavioral support plans and provide feedback to direct support professionals and licensed psychologist. ? Provide feedback on the implementation of instructional programs and daily activity schedules to direct support professionals and supervisors. ? Provide training and resource material to CSS staff and/or families in order to implement quality support services for children and adults.
- Observe the individual's response to behavioral support plans and consult with psychologists and other team members.
- Review behavioral progress of individuals and provide documentation of services.
- Potential to supervise others seeking a BCBA
