Duties

• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to the needs of clients.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage clients effectively in their treatment process.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals in outpatient settings and hospitals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Stay informed about medical terminology relevant to the field and apply it appropriately in documentation and communication.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills related to child family counseling and addiction counseling.

Experience

• Proven experience in child family counseling, preferably with a focus on outpatient services.
• Familiarity with medical records management and medical documentation practices.
• Background in addiction counseling or chronic pain counseling is highly desirable.
• Experience working with children and an understanding of their unique needs in a therapeutic setting.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
