Cape Fear Life Enhancement Services is currently seeking to hire a Qualified Professional. The Qualified Professional is responsible for implementing services which provide the optimal environment for developmental growth enabling those served to function as independently as possible.
The QP has twenty-four hour a day programmatic responsibility for two ICF/IID facilities. The main role of the QP is to ensure that the participants receive the care/services necessary and the ICF/IID facilities meet or exceed the ICF/IID standards at all times. As measured by the continuing certification of these programs by the Division of Facility Services and compliance with State, Federal and local laws/regulation. The QP reports directly to the Program Director.
Education requirement:
- At least one year of experience working directly with individuals who have developmental disabilities; holds at least a bachelor's degree in a professional category (Human Services Field) e.g. Psychology, Education, Sociology, Speech, Counseling, etc.
Job Requirements:
- The successful candidate must be at least 18 years of age with a valid North Carolina Driver's License.
- Must have flexible availability and reliable transportation.
Clearance Requirements:
- Clear health care registry and background check.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
