Actively participate in all treatment team meetings.3. Attend and participate in department and other program or clinical administrative meetings.4. Diagnose, prescribe medication, monitor medication side effects and participate in the treatment process of residents.5. Consult on admissions decisions as necessary.6. Participate in treatment team, unit review and Medical Executive meetings
QualificationsEducation:Minimum - M.D. or D.O. Degree and must have completed ACGME accredited psychiatry residency and two years of child psychiatry fellowship training. Board Eligible or Board Certified Psychiatrist.Licensure/Certification:Board Eligible or Board Certified Psychiatrist. Must have a current Physician License from the State of Virginia. CPR and Handle with CarePhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. 80-90% of the time the incumbent is standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching while working with patients.
