About Job

We are seeking a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) to provide high-quality therapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups. The LAC will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and supporting clients through evidence-based counseling practices. Clinical supervision will be provided to support professional development and progress toward independent licensure (LPC).

Licensed Associate Counselor Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual services to clients of diverse backgrounds.
  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals in collaboration with clients.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential documentation in compliance with agency and licensing standards.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision sessions as required for licensure.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and support client progress.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions tailored to client needs.
  • Respond to client crises and provide crisis intervention services as needed.
  • Attend required staff meetings, trainings, and professional development activities.
  • Stay current with best practices, ethical standards, and state regulations regarding counseling.


Licensed Associate Counselor Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active LAC (Licensed Associate Counselor) license in [Insert State].
  • Eligibility and willingness to participate in clinical supervision provided by the agency.
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
