We are seeking a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) to provide high-quality therapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups. The LAC will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and supporting clients through evidence-based counseling practices. Clinical supervision will be provided to support professional development and progress toward independent licensure (LPC).
Licensed Associate Counselor Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual services to clients of diverse backgrounds.
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals in collaboration with clients.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential documentation in compliance with agency and licensing standards.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision sessions as required for licensure.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and support client progress.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions tailored to client needs.
- Respond to client crises and provide crisis intervention services as needed.
- Attend required staff meetings, trainings, and professional development activities.
- Stay current with best practices, ethical standards, and state regulations regarding counseling.
Licensed Associate Counselor Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Active LAC (Licensed Associate Counselor) license in [Insert State].
- Eligibility and willingness to participate in clinical supervision provided by the agency.
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a collaborative team.

- Previous experience in mental health settings is preferred but not required.
