Job Title: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Location: Stockton, CA

Setting: Correctional Healthcare

Term: 6 months with option to extend

Compensation: $65-70/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists for a California state correctional facility in Stockton, CA These positions are 6-month contracts with the ability to extend.

Qualifications of a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist:

Current California LMFT License
BLS Certification from the American Heart Association

Duties/Responsibilities of a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist:

Prepare comprehensive psychological evaluations and reports summarizing findings and recommendations
Conduct individual and group therapy sessions addressing issues such as anger management, substance abuse, trauma, and adjustment to incarceration
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Respond to and intervene in crisis situations, such as inmate disturbances, self-harm, and suicide attempts
Collaborate with other members of the treatment team, including case managers, social workers, and psychiatrists
Maintain accurate and confidential records of all assessments, treatment sessions, and other professional activities
