Associated Students UCLA, as a responsive student-centered organization, provides innovative and excellent services, programs, products, and facilities for the entire UCLA community. ASUCLA was created when the campus first opened in 1919. Even in the early years, ASUCLA meant student government, student publications, and student services such as a bookstore and cafeteria. Today, ASUCLA has evolved into a four-part organization. These four entities collectively make up the largest student association in the country. The four entities are:
- Undergraduate Students Association – elected representatives of the undergraduate student body.
- Graduate Students Association – elected representatives of the graduate student body.
- Student Media – this includes the Daily Bruin, UCLARadio.com, the Bruin Life Yearbook, and seven different magazines.
- Services & Enterprises – this division is designed to meet the everyday needs of students and the campus community. Major divisions include Student Union, Event Services, UCLA Restaurants, UCLA Store, UCLA Photography, and Trademarks & Licensing.

Products - To provide essential and convenient items that are easily accessible, of high quality, and low cost, including, but not limited to, academic support, food, trademark merchandise, and convenience products. Services - To provide an outstanding level of support to student government, student groups, and student programs through the state-of-the-art office and community spaces, and by providing adequate financial resources and personnel to ensure an active and vibrant campus life.

NetSuite Administrator/Developer:
Salary Range: $73,118- $90,000

Position Overview:
Under the general direction of the IT Director, the NetSuite Administrator will be responsible for the daily administration of NetSuite ERP, SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA), and NSPOS. This role includes developing and maintaining existing interfaces, scripts, saved searches, and reports. As a key technical point of contact for NetSuite-related issues, the administrator will work closely with the NetSuite implementation team and ACS team to ensure proper upgrades, installations, and integrations.

Additionally, the NetSuite Administrator will architect and implement NetSuite solutions aligned with ASUCLA's business objectives while performing core administrative functions. This role also involves migrating legacy applications, generating reports and saved searches, and providing ERP training to users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain NetSuite ERP, SCA, and NSPOS.
- Develop and maintain SuiteScripts, workflows, saved searches, and reports.
- Act as a technical liaison for NetSuite-related issues, collaborating with implementation and ACS teams.
- Customize NetSuite solutions to meet business requirements.
- Migrate legacy applications to NetSuite and generate necessary reports.
- Train users on ERP functionality and best practices.
- Ensure seamless integration of NetSuite with third-party applications.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent training in NetSuite ERP, SCA, and NSPOS.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in technology-related roles.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SuiteScript 1.0 and 2.0, SuiteFlow, and SuiteScript Debugger.
- Experience with creating custom fields, forms, advanced saved searches, reports, dashboards, and workflows.
- Strong background in object-oriented programming using C# and JavaScript.
- Experience with enterprise applications such as Avalara, Box, and Klaviyo.
- Expertise in CSV import setup and mapping.
- Hands-on experience customizing SCA using Site Management Tools and custom scripts.
- Web development skills, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for custom web pages.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, tables, and stored procedures.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to developers and non-technical users.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
- Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience with accounting, retail, and quick-service restaurant applications.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
