DSP - Now Hiring for Weekend Shifts

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for the intellectually and developmentally disabled

Maisie’s Place is looking for DSPs to work with the intellectually and developmentally disabled in their own homes. Registered Behavioral Technician and/or Crisis Prevention and Intervention Certification a plus.

Full Time Position

Wage $19/hour

48 hour Shift Weekend: Saturday 6:00 AM to Monday 6:00 AM

Benefits Package worth $6,000 Annually, including health and vacation benefits.

Experience as a DSP preferred. Paid training in company policies & procedures, and Client-specific care needs/requirements is provided.

We need experienced DSPs who are comfortable with Client support responsibilities that can include working with meds administration, Hoyer lifts, meal prep, light housekeeping, and taking the Client for medical appointments, as well as outings in the community. Certification in Registered Behavioral Technician and/or Crisis Prevent and Intervention preferred. Current certification in First Aid and CPR a plus. Supported Living Services (SLS) experience important.

Current California Driver’s license and auto insurance are required.

As background, Maisie’s Place Family Support Solutions is a non-profit company dedicated to supporting intellectually and developmentally disabled adults who wish to live in their own homes. We provide 24/7 staff for each client.
