About Job

Job Summary

As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the mental health treatment and care of patients. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide direct support and assistance to individuals in need.

Duties

  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments under the supervision of licensed mental health professionals
  • Assist in implementing treatment plans and interventions
  • Provide child and family counseling services
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Utilize medical terminology effectively in documentation and communication
  • Support patients with cognitive behavioral therapy techniques
  • Assist in telehealth sessions and virtual patient care
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care for patients

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in a mental health setting is preferred
  • Familiarity with coding and medical records management is a plus
  • Knowledge of direct support techniques for individuals with mental health challenges
  • Understanding of telehealth platforms and virtual care delivery
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
