Job Summary (PLEASE READ):

**This is for a licensed behavioral health therapist, psychologist, LSW or psD with an existing practice (either onsite or remote) to allow Nurse Practitioner students the opportunity to learn. You must love teaching and have an employer that is willing to allow students.

Urgent need for Nurse Practitioner preceptors (Psychologist, LMHC, LSW) WE NEED YOUR HELP!! There is a NATIONWIDE preceptor shortage. Preceptors serve as a key component of success for Nurse Practitioner students while they learn skills that require hands-on teaching and focused learning. Preceptors must have an advanced level of clinical acumen, enjoy teaching and work at a clinical site that will allow for NP students. Why precept with MatchNP? Earn compensation for every student you precept. Preceptor paperwork is simplified. Clinical objectives communicated prior to student start date. The experience of precepting is rewarding. Preceptors maintain clinical knowledge and skills necessary to be an effective preceptor. May be eligible for CME or state tax credits (state dependent). Most importantly, though, you are HELPING a student reach the finish line. Nurse Practitioner students come from a variety of clinical tracks including Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Adult Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner programs and are generally in their final, most important year, of their educational journey.

Requirements:

-Must have clearance from clinical site to precept students prior to applying.

-Hold active certification as an MD/DO/NP/PA for at least 1 year.

-Currently working as a Nurse Practitioner, MD, DO, or PA for atleast 1 year

-Work in a clinical setting that can offer a rotation in Psych/mental health (on-site or virtually),
