Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with individuals with autism and other developmental disorders. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients and their families. The BCBA will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of care and support for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine individual needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on data collection and analysis.
- Provide training and support to staff, caregivers, and families regarding behavior management techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Stay current with best practices in the field of behavior analysis and related medical terminology.
Experience
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst is required.
- Experience working with children, particularly those on the autism spectrum, is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical documentation practices and familiarity with medical records management.
- Strong understanding of data collection methods and patient assessment techniques.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient confidentiality and information security.
