What You’ll Do

  • Implement Behavior Plans: Follow individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the supervising BCBA.
  • Behavioral Support Strategies: Utilize behavior-analytic strategies such as Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Naturalistic Teaching, and Reinforcement Techniques to support clients.
  • Data Collection & Documentation: Accurately track client progress and submit session notes in compliance with UTC policies.
  • Client Engagement: Provide positive reinforcement and professional communication to encourage skill development and behavior improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with BCBAs, therapists, and caregivers to ensure consistency in intervention across all settings.
  • Challenging Behaviors: Manage and address challenging behaviors according to individualized behavior plans and training.
  • Confidentiality & Professionalism: Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct.
  • Ongoing Training: Participate in required training and continuing education opportunities to improve skills and knowledge.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (Preferred, but not required)
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities (Preferred)
  • Ability to pass a background check and TB test (Required)
  • Reliable transportation to client locations (Required)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual, Spanish speaking (Preferred).
  • Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds, sit, and run as needed.
