Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with individuals diagnosed with autism and other developmental disorders, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is essential in providing support to clients and their families, fostering positive behavioral changes, and enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.
Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA.
- Collect and record data on client behavior to monitor progress and effectiveness of interventions.
- Assist clients in developing daily living skills and social skills through structured activities.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to care.
- Participate in training sessions and ongoing professional development to enhance skills in applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Provide patient care while ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients.
Requirements
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disorders is preferred.
- Familiarity with special education practices, medical terminology, and medical documentation is advantageous.
- Ability to understand and maintain confidentiality regarding patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care while demonstrating empathy and patience.
- Bcba candidate fellowship restricted/unrestricted hours
- RBT: FROM $30 AND UP
- BT: FROM $25 AND UP
