Salt Lake Behavioral Health is seeking a dynamic and talented PRN Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist.

Salt Lake Behavioral Health is a private 118 bed freestanding psychiatric hospital specializing in mental health and substance abuse treatment for adolescents and adults. We serve the Salt Lake City and surrounding area using evidence-based treatments in a comfortable, confidential atmosphere. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Recreational Therapy, humanities, social work or related therapeutic discipline required.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of related experience, knowledge and understanding of psychiatric patient care techniques and mental illness preferred.
Licensure: Current national certification (CTRS) through the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification and current license (TRS) through Utah Department of Professional Licensing required.
Additional Requirements: CPR certification is required. You will need to successfully complete our current training for restraints and seclusions. This training will need to be done prior to assisting in any patient restraints or seclusions and within 90 days of employment.
