Now Hiring: ABA-Informed Adaptive Sports Coaches in Katy
Building Confidence Through Sports & Fitness
At SpectrumOne Sports, we specialize in adaptive sports and fitness sessions for children and teens with autism and related developmental needs (ages 5–19). Our mission is simple: build confidence through movement, using a play-based approach grounded in ABA strategies.
We’re looking for passionate, patient, and energetic coaches—ideally with ABA experience—to lead both private 1:1 sessions and small group classes across the Missouri City and Sugar Land areas.
What You’ll Do
- Coach personalized 1:1 sports sessions (30–60 mins) and/or small group classes (2–6 children), adapting instruction for each child’s skill level and needs.
- Lead activities in basketball, soccer, football, volleyball, baseball, and fitness.
- Use ABA-informed strategies to support motor development, sensory regulation, social interaction, and emotional growth.
- Implement structured lesson plans while keeping sessions fun, engaging, and motivating.
- Build rapport with children and communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about progress.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment at all times.
You’re a Great Fit If You:
- Are a current or former RBT (or have ABA experience in therapy, schools, or adaptive PE).
- Have a background in sports coaching, physical education, kinesiology, or fitness training.
- Are confident leading both 1:1 and small group activities.
- Understand autism and are skilled in supporting diverse sensory, behavioral, and communication needs.
- Are available for sessions Monday–Friday (3–7 PM) and/or Saturdays (9 AM–7 PM).
- Have reliable transportation and can travel to client homes, parks, or designated class sites.
We Provide:
- All equipment included – balls, cones, goals, fidgets, sensory supports, and more.
- Lesson plans + assessments – built by behavior-informed coaches, tailored to each child.
- Ongoing training + support – you’ll always have a team behind you.
- Flexible schedule – you tell us your availability; we match you with clients.
- Mission-driven work – every session is a chance to make a child feel seen, successful, and strong.
Perks:
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
- Flexible hours (great for students, RBTs, PTs, or coaches building hours)
- The chance to change lives through play
