Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Addiction Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and a passion for helping individuals overcome substance use disorders. As an Addiction Counselor, you will provide support and guidance to clients, facilitating their recovery journey through various therapeutic methods. Your role will involve working closely with individuals and families to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to determine the needs of clients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions focusing on behavioral therapy techniques.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions to promote peer support and shared experiences among clients.
• Manage cases effectively, ensuring clients receive comprehensive care throughout their recovery process.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including hospitals and community resources, to coordinate care for clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
• Offer crisis management support to clients in need of immediate assistance.
• Provide counseling services that may include child family counseling and PTSD care as required by client circumstances.

• Strong case management skills with the ability to handle multiple client cases simultaneously.
• Experience in group therapy facilitation, promoting a supportive environment for clients.
