Position Summary
The Psychology program at Allan Hancock College is seeking applications to develop a qualified pool of part-time faculty for in-person instructional vacancies. The assignment may include classes at the Santa Maria campus, Lompoc Valley Center (LVC), and/or the Federal Correctional Institution, Lompoc (FCI Lompoc) as needed. Positions are currently for the fall semester. Future classes may be taught at the Santa Maria campus, LVC and/or FCI Lompoc, and could be a day/night classes.
Please note that this is not a remote position.

Essential Functions and Qualifications
Master's degree in psychology
OR
Bachelor's in psychology
AND
Master's in counseling, sociology, statistics, neuroscience, or social work
OR the equivalent.

- Provide instruction in accordance with established curriculum and course outlines.
- Maintain appropriate standards of professional conduct and ethics.
- Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter areas.
- Fulfill professional responsibilities of a part-time/temporary faculty member.
- Teach all scheduled classes.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Assignments may include day, evening, or weekend classes.
Master's degree in psychology
