Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Social Worker to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential social work services to patients, families, and caregivers in a medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments of patients
• Provide counseling and support to patients and families
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Assist patients in accessing community resources and support services
• Advocate for patients' rights and needs
• Maintain accurate medical documentation
• Participate in clinical research activities as needed

Requirements

• Strong background in patient care and senior care
• Proficiency in crisis intervention and cognitive behavioral therapy
• Experience in dementia care and psychotherapy
• Knowledge of medical coding and behavioral health practices
• Ability to conduct clinical research and analyze data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,200.00 per week

Schedule:

• 3x12
• 5x8
• Evening shift
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed

License/Certification:

• Medical social worker (Required)
