We have an opportunity for a Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our small but mighty team! Our Clinical Neuropsychologists provide vital, identity-affirming evaluations for people with a wide range of clinical concerns such as autism, ADHD, learning disability, intellectual disability, traumatic brain injury, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, vascular conditions, etc.

This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days in office. We also offer paid time off for all federal holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients in person in an office setting or remote setting as needed.
  • Collect and review information about clients using interviews, case history, observation techniques, and other assessment methods.
  • Administer psychological and neuropsychological tests.
  • Aid clients in identifying personal and interactive problems and in achieving effective personal and family development and adjustment.
  • Analyze information collected to determine the advisability of counseling or referral to other specialists or institutions.
  • Request consultation from a supervisor when appropriate.
  • Document in report format assessment outcomes and findings and share with the client.
  • Empower clients to advocate for themselves by providing understandable feedback and reports.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop post-treatment activity plans.
  • Provide assessments for our non-English speaking clients with the aid of interpreters.
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings and team building activities as well as occasional staff training.
  • Participate in supervision/mentor relationship.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records regarding case progress, evaluations, and any further treatment recommendations.
  • Ensure that the professional license is active and in good standing at all times.
  • Complete administrative duties and paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Follow policies and laws regarding chart documentation and record requests.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures including HIPAA, ethics, and conduct.
  • Must be available to work during core business hours Monday through Friday, scheduling is flexible.

Qualifications

  • Registered as a Psychologist in the State of CA
  • Degree in Psychology or related field from an APA Accredited Program
  • Knowledge and clinical experience in administering psychological and neuropsychological tests and corresponding report writing
  • Knowledge of current assessment measures and practices
  • Bilingual language skills are a plus.
