Exciting Opportunity: Outpatient Therapist for Adults, Youth, and Families

Location:
Hays, Kansas
Salary: $64,218 annually


What You’ll Do:

As an Outpatient Therapist, you will provide essential mental health services, helping patients meet their psychological, physical, and social needs.


You will work with adults, youth, and families, offering comprehensive therapeutic support that includes:

  • Psychotherapy & Counseling: Provide individual, marital, family, and/or group therapy in line with annual service expectations.
  • Case Management: Collaborate with other professionals to manage patient care effectively, ensuring the best outcomes.
  • Clinical Documentation: Complete timely reports and administrative documentation in compliance with Center policies.
  • Prevention & Education Support: Provide limited services to our Prevention, Education, and Outreach Program (PEO) in coordination with your supervisor.
  • Evening Availability: At least one evening per week is required to meet the needs of our patients.

Requirements:
  • Masters or doctoral degree with Kansas BSRB license as a:
  • (1) Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Master Level Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist; or
  • (2) Licensed Master Social Worker (clinical track) or Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker; or
  • (3) Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with Mental Health Training track or equivalent mental health experience; or
  • (4) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist.
  • Demonstrated competence by training and/or experience to perform job duties.
  • Must demonstrate competency in the use of technology including computers, various software applications, printers, scanners, telephones, etc.
  • Must also demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, to include understanding and application of technology (hardware, software, equipment and processes).
  • Skills: Proficiency in the use of technology (computers, software, printers, scanners, etc.) and a commitment to continuous improvement in the application of these tools.
