Remote School Psychologist Opportunity in Illinois
VocoVision is thrilled to announce a unique opening in the field of school psychology for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year, collaborating with a local school district. We are actively seeking a virtual school psychologist to join our dynamic team. Interviews with the district director are currently underway, and we encourage all interested candidates to apply promptly. While residency in the school district's state is not mandatory, candidates must possess valid licenses in both their home state and the state of employment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
Illinois state-issued license and education certification
Previous experience as a school psychologist
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee a diverse caseload covering grades PreK-12
Collaborate on the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and conduct assessments alongside educational experts
Perform necessary reevaluations
Actively participate in meetings with the special education team
Assist in developing effective classroom procedures and rules to support personnel with remediation plans
Work Schedule:
Part-time independent contracting position requiring 2-3 days per week
Contract begins in August 2024 and concludes in June 2025
