Benefits:

WAVE can offer a benefits package to any clinician who sees 20 clients or more per week (this includes comprehensive Healthcare, Vacation & 401K).
If a clinician chooses to see less than 20 clients, they are considered ineligible for benefits but may still work for WAVE.

Responsibilities:

Provide individual, couple, and family therapy to clients. This includes scheduling them and verifying intake paperwork is complete. You will have 2 assistants who check benefits for you and input all new information (biographical information) for you.
WAVE makes it easy to see clients and provide good therapy. An easy to use EHR (electronic heath record) is provided for you and you can use your phone, laptop or computer to document. It even has dictation abilities should you not want to type.

Requirements:

License to practice therapy in the state of California (AMFT, APCC) (LMFT, APCC for a higher pay scale)
Experience in a private practice setting is preferred but not required.
We take newly licensed clinicians who want to learn about private practice. We do ask for a time period commitment in exchange for learning about private practice.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a member of a team.

The clinician should do their best to attend staff meetings a 1x/month. A collaborative group supervision/consultation is offered each week and is extremely beneficial to learning. The clinician is paid for the consultation group.

Experience:

1 year of therapy (Preferred but not required).

License:

Licensed Associate Marriage & Family Therapist.
Licensed Associate Professional Clinical counselor.
