Stanley Street Treatment and Resources (SSTAR) is a leading integrated healthcare, behavioral health, and substance use disorder treatment organization serving southeastern Massachusetts and neighboring Rhode Island. Founded in 1977, SSTAR has grown from a community-based detoxification provider into a comprehensive healthcare organization serving more than 5,000 patients annually through a continuum of services that includes primary care, behavioral health, addiction treatment, recovery support, prevention, and community-based programs. Together with its affiliate, SSTARbirth, the organization employs approximately 375 staff and operates a network of programs that improve health outcomes and support long-term recovery for individuals and families across the region.
SSTAR is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead its next chapter of growth, innovation, and community impact. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will provide strategic, operational, and financial leadership for a complex, multi-site healthcare organization with a mission-centered commitment to whole-person care. Building on a strong foundation of clinical excellence, dedicated staff, respected community partnerships, and financial stability, the next CEO will guide strategic planning, strengthen organizational infrastructure, advance quality and compliance initiatives, foster a culture of accountability and collaboration, and serve as the organization's primary ambassador. This is a unique opportunity to lead a highly respected organization at a pivotal moment and help shape the future of integrated healthcare, behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, and recovery services throughout southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
The annual base salary range for this position is $325,000-$375,000, commensurate with experience.
