Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time School Psychologist to provide leave coverage in Redmond, Washington, for the 2026–2027 school year. This position will be divided evenly between an elementary school and a secondary school.

Schedule: 1.0 FTE, Monday–Friday
Hours: Up to 7.5 paid hours per day and 37.5 hours per week
Required Trainings: Full-day trainings on October 16, 2026, and March 12, 2027
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations
Administer, score, and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
Prepare clear and thorough evaluation reports
Participate in eligibility, evaluation, and Individualized Education Program meetings
Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
Support the development and implementation of appropriate interventions and student supports
Assist school teams with behavioral, academic, and social-emotional concerns
Provide consultation regarding special education eligibility and programming
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state, federal, and district requirements
Coordinate responsibilities and services across both assigned school campuses
Qualifications
Master’s or educational specialist degree in school psychology
Current Washington State license and appropriate school psychologist certification
Previous school-based experience preferred
Knowledge of special education laws, evaluation procedures, and eligibility requirements
Strong assessment, report-writing, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage responsibilities effectively across two school sites
Ability to work in person at the assigned campuses
Availability to attend both required full-day trainings
