Overview

Join our team as an Educational and Vocational Evaluator where you will play a vital role in assessing and supporting individuals' educational and vocational needs. This position will allow you to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. You will collaborate one on one both in-person and remotely with diverse populations referred through social services. This opportunity will allow you to develop a plan for individuals who need educational accommodations as well as pair people with vocational goals in line with individual aptitudes. Your work will help empower individuals to achieve their full potential of self sufficiency through assessments and insightful recommendations. This work will benefit the individuals you engage with as well as their whole families.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct educational and vocational evaluations for clients from social service settings, utilizing standardized testing tools and interview techniques.
  • Utilize assessment data to identify strengths, challenges, and appropriate educational or vocational pathways.
  • Collaborate with educational and community based institutions, social service agencies, and other stakeholders to create personalized support plans.
  • Prepare evaluation reports that clearly communicate findings, recommendations, and next steps for clients and team members.
  • Provide guidance on career development options, and necessary accommodations based on assessment outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all evaluations while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices.

Requirements

  • Masters Level Social Work Degree or Licensed Social Worker
  • Proven experience working with adults or clients within education, community, or social service environments.
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and client-centered service delivery.
  • A master’s degree or higher in social work is required.
