This position is based in Elk Grove/Sacramento, CA, requiring daily travel within the area. As an Employment Counselor, you will support adults with developmental disabilities in developing skills for competitive employment. Your duties include planning and leading activities, providing job readiness and social skills training, supporting behavioral growth with positive reinforcement, and assisting participants at their worksites. Requirements include a high school diploma, a reliable car with a clean driving record, a background check, and CPR/First Aid certification (reimbursed upon hiring). Benefits include starting pay at $22/hour, mileage and car repair reimbursements, stipends for wifi and cell phone, comprehensive health benefits, PTO, 401k with match, and work hours Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 4 pm. The role involves working with participants daily, supporting their development, and ensuring successful employment outcomes.
