Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Social Worker Supervisor and lead the way in providing compassionate, comprehensive social work services for clients in San Bernardino Juvenile Dependency Court. In this vital role, you will oversee the operations of and supervise a team of dedicated social workers. Your expertise will help individuals and families navigate the complex juvenile dependency system. This position offers an exciting opportunity to become part of our multi-disciplinary team setting where you will work together with the client and attorney.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily clinical activities, including case management, conflict checks, and action requests.
  • Manage team performance through supervision, coaching, training on clinical best practices, and ensuring adherence to state licensing requirements.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that promotes professional growth while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively while managing caseloads that include complex cases.
  • Ability to work independently in communicating with attorneys, scheduling appointments, conducting interviews, and providing findings to attorneys and the interdisciplinary team in a timely manner.

Duties:

  • Provide independent social work services to attorneys (firms and private attorneys) at San Bernardino County Dependency Court, who represent minors in some cases and parents in other cases.
  • Conduct visits with minors and/or caretakers at court and at home, conduct interviews and report findings and/or observations to the attorney.
  • Supervise the social worker team to ensure compliance with all aspects of contracted work, including avoiding client conflicts.
  • Attend court in San Bernardino Juvenile Dependency Court as needed.

Experience:

  • 3 – 5 years experience working as a social worker in a California county Children & Family Services Department. Experience must include some work involving dependency court interaction with attorneys.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
