About Us
Sunrise Holistic Care provides compassionate, individualized behavior intervention services to children, adolescents, and families. We are seeking a reliable, professional, and client-centered Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician to provide direct ABA services to a client in the Poway area.
Position Overview
The Behavior Technician/RBT will provide 1:1 direct behavior support under the supervision of a BCBA. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, comfortable working independently in a home/community-based setting, and able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule.
Current Client Schedule Needed
We are currently seeking coverage for the following availability:
Sundays: 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Tuesdays: 1:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m.
Wednesdays: 1:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m.
Applicants must be available for all of the listed hours.
Responsibilities
Provide direct 1:1 ABA services in accordance with the client’s treatment plan
Implement behavior intervention strategies and skill-acquisition programs as directed by the supervising BCBA
Collect accurate session data
Maintain professional communication with supervisors and caregivers
Follow client-specific dignity, safety, privacy, and support protocols
Participate in training, supervision, and ongoing clinical feedback
Maintain reliability and consistency with scheduled sessions
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
RBT certification preferred, but not required
Prior experience providing ABA services strongly preferred
Experience working with children or individuals with autism/developmental disabilities preferred
Ability to travel to Poway, CA for in-person sessions
Strong professionalism, reliability, and communication skills
Ability to follow individualized client protocols and maintain appropriate boundaries
Must complete background check and onboarding requirements prior to starting
Preferred Experience
Experience with home-based ABA services
Experience supporting clients with individualized behavioral, social, communication, or adaptive-living needs
Comfort working with families in a professional and respectful manner
Availability for Sunday sessions
Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
