Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Behavior Technician to join our dynamic team committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will work closely with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based behavioral interventions. Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of licensed clinicians, utilizing techniques rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavioral therapy.
- Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors accurately during sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments.
- Support clients with activities that promote skill development, communication, social interaction, and daily living skills tailored to their needs.
- Assist in conducting patient assessments, intake procedures, and diagnostic evaluations to help develop effective treatment strategies.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation, records, and reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to provide consistent care and reinforce therapeutic goals across environments.
- Participate in ongoing training related to medical terminology, patient care practices, and behavioral health protocols to enhance service quality.
Qualifications
- Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), special education strategies, and behavioral health principles.
- Strong data collection skills with attention to detail for tracking client progress effectively.
- Ability to work compassionately with individuals with autism or other disabilities while maintaining professionalism.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards such as HIPAA compliance.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients’ families and multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
