The Marriage and Family Counselor provides professional counseling services designed in assisting participants in behavior change to maintain a healthy lifestyle and quality of life through individual and group therapy.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field preferred
- Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work, Family Therapy preferred
- Licensed as a Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) as required by state regulations and/or contract specifications
- One (1) year of experience in counseling preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age

- Role: LMFT – Clinical Supervisor (Or LCSW is acceptable as well!)
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Shift: Day Shift
- Contract Length: 26 weeks minimum (long-term or temp-to-perm - no short term options available)
- Start Date: May 18, 2026

?? Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision to Associate MFTs (AMFTs)
- Support case review, treatment planning, and professional development
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards, documentation, and regulations
- Mentor clinicians and support quality patient outcomes
- Collaborate with leadership and multidisciplinary teams
?? Population Experience (Critical to Success)
This role requires experience working with a wide breadth of patient populations, particularly:
- Individuals experiencing homelessness
- Indigent and underserved communities
- Patients with limited or no access to healthcare resources
- High-acuity cases impacted by social determinants of health
?? Candidates must be comfortable and experienced working in community mental health or resource-limited environments
? Requirements
- Active California LMFT License
- Experience in clinical supervision or leadership preferred
- Strong background working with diverse, high-need populations
- Knowledge of evidence-based practice and documentation standards
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and organizational skills

- $60/hour
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,400
