- Conduct psychological testing and diagnostic evaluations to identify students’ needs related to learning, behavior, and emotional well-being
- Develop and implement Evaluation Team Reports (ETR's) tailored to each student’s unique requirements
- Perform crisis intervention and manage safety plans to support students experiencing emotional or behavioral crises
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to coordinate case management and ensure comprehensive support for students with disabilities or developmental challenges
- Assist in early intervention efforts by conducting intake assessments and developing strategies for students with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Maintain detailed medical documentation, records of psychological testing, and progress notes in compliance with confidentiality standards and medical terminology
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in educational or clinical settings, preferably within a school environment
- Strong background in special education, behavioral management, crisis management, and conflict resolution
- Skilled in applied behavior analysis (ABA), social work principles, and psychotherapy techniques suitable for children and adolescents
- Familiarity with medical records management, psychological testing procedures, and diagnostic evaluation processes
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Experience collaborating on IEP development and implementing behavior management strategies in a school setting
- Excellent communication skills for working with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
