Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families, helping clients navigate complex emotional and behavioral challenges. Duties

  • Conduct thorough intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for diverse client populations.
  • Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral management techniques.
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies to ensure client safety and stability during urgent situations.
  • Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to motivate clients toward positive behavioral change.
  • Collect and document detailed clinical data, maintain HIPAA-compliant medical records, and ensure accurate medical documentation using appropriate medical terminology and CPT coding standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, including case management and community outreach efforts.
  • Engage in clinical research activities and contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery.

Experience

  • Valid licensure as a Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) with relevant state licensing boards.
  • Bilingual English/Arabic Required
  • Proven experience in psychotherapy, including working with children, adolescents, adults, and families facing mental health or behavioral challenges.
  • Demonstrated expertise in crisis management, crisis intervention, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems, CPT coding for billing purposes, and HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy.
  • Experience providing home & community care services and working within hospital or clinical settings preferred.
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), addiction counseling, PTSD care, special education strategies, and working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Strong skills in data collection, clinical documentation, patient assessment, and conducting diagnostic evaluations using ICD coding standards.
