We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic mental health team. Duties
- Conduct thorough intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for diverse client populations.
- Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral management techniques.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies to ensure client safety and stability during urgent situations.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to motivate clients toward positive behavioral change.
- Collect and document detailed clinical data, maintain HIPAA-compliant medical records, and ensure accurate medical documentation using appropriate medical terminology and CPT coding standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, including case management and community outreach efforts.
- Engage in clinical research activities and contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery.
Experience
- Valid licensure as a Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) with relevant state licensing boards.
- Bilingual English/Arabic Required
- Proven experience in psychotherapy, including working with children, adolescents, adults, and families facing mental health or behavioral challenges.
- Demonstrated expertise in crisis management, crisis intervention, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems, CPT coding for billing purposes, and HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy.
- Experience providing home & community care services and working within hospital or clinical settings preferred.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), addiction counseling, PTSD care, special education strategies, and working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in data collection, clinical documentation, patient assessment, and conducting diagnostic evaluations using ICD coding standards.
