RevCore Recovery Center is currently seeking a Therapist to provide on-site clinical services at their Brooklyn location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual psychotherapy, supportive counseling, and crisis intervention.
- Complete comprehensive intake assessments, psychosocial evaluations, and diagnostic formulations.
- Develop and maintain person-centered treatment plans and progress notes in compliance with documentation standards.
- Collaborate closely with internal mental health team, case managers, housing program staff, and external providers to coordinate care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and ongoing clinical supervision.
- Promote engagement in mental health treatment, independent living skills, recovery, and community stability.
- Utilize trauma-informed, harm-reduction, and culturally-responsive therapeutic approaches.
Qualifications:
- Required License/Permit (one of the following):
- LMHC
- MHC-LP
- Medicaid provider number
- Experience working with adults with serious mental illness (SMI), trauma, co-occurring behavioral health needs, or supportive housing populations strongly preferred.
- Strong clinical documentation and case coordination skills.
- Comfort working independently in community/residential settings while maintaining team communication.
- Familiarity with:
- Trauma-Informed Care
- Motivational Interviewing
- Cognitive Behavioral and/or Psychodynamic approaches
- Collaborative care and harm reduction frameworks
