PASSIONATE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CENTER is seeking a full-time, onsite Addiction Counselor to help individuals build meaningful pathways to recovery.Position SummaryAs an Addiction Counselor (LCADC or CAC), you will provide compassionate, clinically guided substance use treatment to clients and support their progress through evidence-informed care. You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess needs, develop treatment plans, and deliver counseling services that are tailored to each individual’s goals.This role is ideal for a counselor who values strong client relationships, accurate documentation, and a safe, supportive therapeutic environment. Your work will directly contribute to client outcomes and the overall quality of behavioral health services.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct initial and ongoing assessments to understand substance use history, needs, risk factors, and treatment goals.Provide individual and group counseling using clinically appropriate techniques to support recovery and relapse prevention.Develop, implement, and review treatment plans in collaboration with clients and the treatment team.Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and records in accordance with applicable standards and policies.Participate in case conferences and coordinate care with internal staff and relevant community partners as appropriate.Required QualificationsCurrent licensure or credential as an LCADC or CAC.Demonstrated ability to provide addiction-focused counseling services with professionalism and empathy.Strong understanding of counseling ethics, client confidentiality, and documentation expectations.Ability to assess client needs and support treatment planning and progress monitoring.Commitment to working in an onsite, full-time role at Location 1.Preferred QualificationsExperience delivering addiction treatment services, including individual and/or group counseling.Familiarity with relapse prevention planning and ongoing recovery support strategies.Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to treatment plan updates.Knowledge of clinical best practices for risk awareness, crisis response, and safety planning.CompensationHourly rate: $37.00 - $40.00
