Company Description

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position located in Concord, New Hampshire, for the role of Psychiatric Social Worker. Responsibilities include assessing and counseling individuals with mental health needs, developing care plans, coordinating treatment services, and working closely with families and community providers. The Psychiatric Social Worker will also provide support in crisis situations, ensure compliance with treatment protocols, and advocate for patient needs within the mental healthcare system.


Qualifications

  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills in the context of mental health and psychiatric care.
  • Experience in case management, treatment planning, and coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of mental health regulations, ethical practices, and resources for individuals with psychiatric disorders.
  • Ability to handle crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interfacing with patients, families, and community providers.
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field required, with relevant clinical licensure preferred (e.g., LCSW, LICSW).
  • Experience working in public health or community-based mental health services is a plus.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate documentation and utilizing electronic health record systems.
