As a Part Time Behavior Technician (BT) at New Story Schools, you’ll provide one-on-one and small-group support to students in home and community settings. You’ll implement individualized plans that build academic, social, and life skills, helping each learner grow in confidence and independence. Working within a collaborative, mission-driven team, you’ll play a vital role in creating meaningful progress for students with special needs.What You’ll NeedAssociate’s degree or a minimum of 48 semester credit hours from an accredited institutionAt least three months of professional or internship experience supporting individuals with behavioral or learning differencesReliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and active auto insurance coverageStrong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educatorsAbility to remain patient, adaptable, and professional in dynamic learning environmentsWhat You’ll DoDeliver individualized instruction based on each student’s IEP goalsSupport students with autism and other learning differences in home and community settingsImplement evidence-based strategies to promote academic, behavioral, and life skill growthCollect and report data to monitor student progress and guide instructional decisionsPartner with families, teachers, and clinicians to ensure consistency and support across environmentsNew Story Schools is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
