About Children’s Milestone

Children’s Milestone is a leading provider of high-quality, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services across Maryland, DC, and Virginia. We serve individuals from early childhood through adolescence, delivering individualized treatment plans designed to improve communication, behavior, and daily living skills.

Our mission is simple: to empower children with autism to reach greater independence and improve their overall quality of life. We accomplish this through consistent, data-driven care and a strong commitment to clinical excellence.

At Children’s Milestone, we value diversity, inclusion, and professional growth, and we take pride in developing future clinicians from the ground up.

Position Overview: Behavior Technician (Entry-Level)

What We Offer

  • No experience required – paid training provided
  • $600+ training reimbursement after:
  • Passing the RBT exam
  • Completing your first 30 days of active work
  • Hands-on experience working with children and making a real impact
  • Ongoing supervision, mentorship, and career growth opportunities
  • Clear pathway to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and beyond

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home and community environments
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans designed by a BCBA
  • Collect accurate data on client behaviors and skill acquisition
  • Complete daily session notes and documentation in a timely manner
  • Communicate regularly with supervisors and clinical team
  • Support clients in developing communication, social, and daily living skills
  • Maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for each child

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong interest in working with children and making a difference
  • Reliable, professional, and eager to learn
  • Previous experience with children (preferred but not required)
  • Availability during afternoon and evening hours (3:30 PM – 8:00 PM)
  • High school diploma required
  • College students or graduates in psychology, education, or related fields preferred
  • Bilingual candidates are a plus
  • Must have:
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Active auto insurance and registration

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to actively engage with children throughout sessions
  • Walking, standing, sitting, kneeling, and occasional running
  • Bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Comfortable working on the floor or in child-centered environments
  • Constant awareness of client safety and surroundings
