Peer Support Specialist
Position Summary The Peer Support Specialist uses lived experience to support, mentor, and empower clients on their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emotional support and encouragement
- Help clients set and achieve personal goals
- Facilitate group activities or support sessions
- Assist with navigating services and building life skills
- Promote hope, dignity, and self-sufficiency
Qualifications
- Lived experience with homelessness, recovery, or behavioral health
- Peer certification (preferred, if applicable)
- Strong empathy and communication skills
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
Shift availability:
- Day Shift (Preferred)
- Night Shift (Required)
- Overnight Shift (Preferred)
