Master Social Worker

Job Description:

Currently seeking a MSW or MFT intern to work in a locked psychiatric facility. The position is a coordinator position. It will include reviewing the clinical issues of residents, developing treatment goals and assisting the residents and the team in carrying out those treatment goals from admission to discharge. Supervision is included, if seeking LCSW or MFT hours.

We are seeking someone who is motivated, dependable and able to multitask. This is a great clinical learning opportunity.

Essential job functions:

• Facilitate groups (up to 6-10 clients)
• Complete intakes, facilitation of groups, individual sessions, family sessions, case management, crisis intervention, treatment planning and discharge planning
• Complete paperwork in a timely manner
• Perform collaterals with families and outside providers
• Attend clinical and staff meetings

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Possess computer skills and literacy
• Master’s Degree in Social Work or MFT required.

Pay: From $31.00 per hour
