Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed School Psychologist is sought for a contract position serving students in grades K-12 across multiple school levels. This role offers the opportunity to support the academic, emotional, and social development of students in a collaborative educational environment located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop strategies that address student needs
- Provide consultation and support for intervention planning and implementation
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and support compliance with state regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow ethical guidelines in all professional activities
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Licensed as a School Psychologist in South Dakota (interns under supervision may be considered)
- Flexibility in managing caseload to best meet student needs
- Strong collaborative skills to effectively engage with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience working within South Dakota schools is preferred, but not required
