Primary Purpose: Evaluate, intervene, consult, and deliver services as required by the school districts, community agencies, and HCDE. Qualifications:Education/Certification:Bachelor's degree from an accredited universityBoard certification by the Certification Board for Music TherapistsSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Effective/efficient oral and written communicationReliable transportation to/from work and between work-sitesEfficient mobility within the work-siteStrong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize and meet deadlinesAbility to maintain accurate and auditable recordsGeneral knowledge of computer systems and software applicationsAbility to serve as professional student supervisorExperience:Experience in pediatrics and/or the school setting desirableMajor Responsibilities and Duties:Use evidence in practice, evaluation, data collection, documentation and recommendations.Evaluate to determine educational need for services.Provide intervention to support student participation and performance in accordance with state laws and/or professional standards.Document and maintain service-related records.Participate in professional growth activities.Perform other duties as assigned.
