Licensed Master Social Worker

Job Title: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) – Hospital

Pay Rate: $60–$65/Hour on W2

Location: New York, NY 10016

Department: Social Work – Non Behavioral Health

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 35 Hours per Week
• 7 Hours per Day

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments for patients
• Provide supportive therapy and counseling services
• Coordinate discharge planning, including community referrals and support services
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient care and treatment planning

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of LMSW experience required
• Experience in inpatient medicine, surgery (med/surg), or rehabilitation settings required
• Hospital experience strongly preferred by the manager

Education/Certifications & Licensure:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work required
• Valid Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license issued by NYSED required

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
