Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in applied behavior analysis and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. As a BCBA, you will lead behavioral intervention programs, conduct comprehensive assessments, and collaborate closely with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to develop tailored treatment plans. Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and functional behavior assessments to identify individual needs and develop effective intervention strategies.
- Design, implement, and supervise individualized behavior intervention plans grounded in applied behavior analysis principles.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to monitor progress and adjust treatment approaches accordingly.
- Provide training, supervision, and mentorship to behavior technicians and support staff to ensure fidelity of interventions.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare providers to coordinate care and facilitate consistent implementation of behavioral strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, patient records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in intake assessments and ongoing patient evaluations to ensure comprehensive understanding of each individual's behavioral health needs.
- Stay current with industry standards, research developments, and ethical guidelines related to behavioral therapy and developmental disabilities.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA) methodologies.
- Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation for treatment planning and progress monitoring.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment procedures, and medical documentation practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams in behavioral health settings.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and team members effectively.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality and privacy of patient information.
